One Eighty
In a growingly chaotic world, one-eighty is a safe environment for high school age kids to come, have fun and talk about life. Our world is filled with all kinds of noise and distraction, at one-eighty we don’t want to compete with that (Hollywood and video games) but we do want to give kids an opportunity to come and take a break from it. We desire to create an environment that encourages relationship and that allows for questions to be asked that kids might not feel they can in other places. We also want them to know that there are adults that care, are willing and are available to help – if that is something that they are needing.
We accomplish that through:
- CLUB – SUNDAY NIGHTS 6:30-8:00 is Our weekly gathering during the school year. Here, we play different games – from KNOCKERBALLS to more chill games like Catchphrase. At club we’ll occasionally eat some food but we always laugh (a lot) and talk a little deeper about life. We would love to have you join us – we meet at the house directly across from the entrance to Rex Putnam: 4807 SE Roethe Rd. Milwaukie, OR 97267
- CAMP – During the summer, we get out of PDX and allow them to experience adventures that they will not get to in the city. We desire for every kid that steps through our door to be able to have an opportunity to come. So although the price tag for camp might be more steep than what you can afford, we don’t EVER want money to be the issue. If you’re willing to put in a little bit of effort and work – we’ll make sure we get you there!
- WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY – We believe a lot of problems find their answers in the Bible. Check in with a leader for place and time.
- OCCASIONAL EVENTS/ACTIVITIES – From all-night video games to renting out Safari Sam’s to weekend getaways, we do a variety of things throughout the year
